About the Author: Hailey Brockopp
I am a 26 year old female who was diagnosed with brain cancer – more specifically – a Grade II Astrocytoma in June of 2022. I was still figuring out what I wanted to do with my experience and education when life threw me this curveball which required me to shift my perspective and my plans. I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a Specialization in Forensic Psychology and currently work in healthcare operations at a mental healthcare organization that I have worked with for 5 years. My passions include psychology, mental health & wellness, criminal justice, and healthcare operations. Initially my goal was to earn a doctorate degree and pursue Forensic Psychology, though with this new curveball I am re-evaluating my future. I am exploring whether I want to pursue an MBA degree as well as establishing new goals and plans. I was born and raised in MN but have dreams of moving around and traveling. I am brand new to the blogging world and my site still has a long way to go, but I am eager! I hope you join me in this journey!
